BofA To Wipe Out Second Liens For Home Owners (Video)

Bank Of America is starting a 2nd lien relief program where they will wipe a BofA owned and serviced second loan.

Lucky winners will be contacted by mail and have 30 days to opt out should they want to keep the lien on their property.

For those that receive letters counseling with an attorney, CPA, or financial planner is a good idea as there may be tax consequences to accepting the deal. Especially, if the debt is waived after the Mortgage Relief bill expires on December 31, 2012.
