May 2015 Reno Real Estate Market Statistics Report
Reno Sparks Association of Realtors® has released their monthly market report for the Reno Sparks Region for the month of May, 2015.

Overview:
Median Sales Price: $284,900 compared to $272,000 in April, 2015 and $240,000 in May of 2014. This is an 18% increase in median sales price year over year.
# of Units Sold: 567 units compared to 567 in April, 2015 and 546 in May of 2014. This is a 3.8% increase in units sold year over year.
Days on Market: 92 DOM compared to 92 DOM in April, 2015 and 101 DOM in May of 2014. This is a decrease in days on market before sale of 9% year over year.
Summary:
May of 2015 is the 2nd highest sales month in history for the month of May historically. The highest sales in the month of May that surpassed May of 2015 was May of 2005!
More homes are selling this year, these homes are selling faster and at a higher value than last year.
