It’s been awhile since I’ve blogged on here due to trying to keep up with how fast the market is moving. In it’s 
simplistic form supply and demand are way out of whack.
As of 10:30 am today, 6/1, there were 32 homes available between $100,000-$150,000 with at least 3 bedrooms in all of Reno and Sparks. The effects of AB 284 are being felt as investors and first time home buyers try to outbid each other. Offers of 5-10% above list price are being rejected as those lucky few who get an accepted offer worry about appraisals.
